Our client is an international, fast-paced organisation operating at the intersection of finance, IT, and supply chain. They are looking for a hands-on financial professional who can quickly integrate into the team and provide immediate support across accounting and data-driven processes.
Role Overview:
The Freelance Financial Analyst will support the finance team while acting as the first line of contact for ERP and supply chain-related matters. This role requires a strong accounting background combined with an IT-oriented mindset, enabling effective handling of financial data, reporting, and system-related queries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general accounting activities and support day-to-day finance operations
• Assist with month-end closing and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Manage channel accounting, including analysis of performance, margins, and variances
• Act as the first point of contact for ERP system and supply chain-related queries
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and business queries linked to ERP systems
• Develop and maintain reports in Excel, with a strong focus on Microsoft Power Query
• Deliver timely and accurate financial and operational reports
• Support stakeholders with insights and analysis based on financial and ERP data
• Collaborate with finance, IT, and business teams to improve processes and data flows
Candidate Requirements:
• 5–6+ years of experience in financial analysis and/or accounting
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
• Experience working with ERP systems and supply chain processes
• Advanced Excel skills, including Microsoft Power Query (mandatory)
• SQL query knowledge is a strong plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• IT-minded, with the ability to bridge finance and technical teams
• Fluent in Dutch (mandatory)
• Able to work independently and adapt quickly in an interim assignment
