Freelance Finance Manager – 9 month contract
Location: Central Leuven (2-3 days onsite per week)

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to play a key role in guiding the company’s financial strategy and supporting business growth. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will be responsible for providing financial insight, ensuring strong financial controls, and supporting critical business decisions.
Key responsibilities include managing balance sheet reconciliations, preparing and maintaining cash flow forecasts, overseeing financial reporting, and providing analysis to support investment opportunities and strategic initiatives. You will act as the main point of contact for banking relationships, loan facilities, and external financial partners, ensuring the business is well-positioned to meet its financial objectives.
The role will also involve monitoring financial processes, reviewing and approving timesheets, supporting budgeting activities, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and financial regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Experience managing banking relationships, lending facilities, and investments
- Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent Dutch and English required
- French is a strong advantage
