Financial Controller (Contract) – Insurance Sector | URGENT
Location: South East England (2 days on-site)
Rate: £500–£600 per day
Contract: 3–6 Months
Interviews: Taking place next week, immediate start preferred
We are urgently seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join a leading organisation within the insurance sector on a high-impact contract.
This role requires a hands-on finance professional with a strong background in financial services and proven experience delivering finance transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead financial reporting, controls, and month-end processes
Drive finance transformation and system/process improvements
Work closely with senior stakeholders including CFO and leadership team
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across finance operations
Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Financial Controller
Strong financial services background (insurance experience desirable, not essential)
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (MD365)
Demonstrated track record in finance transformation / change projects
Ability to deliver impact quickly in a fast-paced environment.
