In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior leaders, operational managers, and key stakeholders, providing expert financial advice, guidance, and strategic insights. You will work to ensure financial decisions are informed, robust, and aligned with the overall goals of the authority, ultimately contributing to the efficient and effective delivery of policing services.

A key aspect of the role involves presenting financial information to a wide range of audiences, including those without a financial background. You will be expected to actively participate in senior-level meetings, offering financial analysis and recommendations to help drive decision-making.

The Finance Business Partner will play a pivotal role in shaping the annual budget process, contributing to financial forecasting, and supporting the creation of the Medium-Term Financial Strategy, ensuring that the authority remains financially sound in both the short and long term.
