The Role

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager to support an environmental project focused on reducing emissions at a metal smelting site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the project from the Sofia office, working closely with internal stakeholders, technical teams, contractors and other project partners to ensure activities are delivered safely, on time and to the required environmental and operational standards.

This is a hands-on project management role requiring someone who can take ownership of project activities, coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive progress through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of an environmental emissions reduction project.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones and action trackers.
• Coordinate internal teams, technical specialists, contractors and external stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identifying risks, issues and dependencies and ensuring these are addressed.
• Organise and lead project meetings, providing clear updates on progress and actions.
• Track project budgets, resources, deliverables and timelines.
