Role Overview
We are seeking an EPLAN Electrical Design Engineer to support the design of internally manufactured industrial machinery. The role focuses on electrical panel design, wiring, and machine electrical architecture, working closely with engineering and production teams on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical schematics using EPLAN Electric P8
- Develop electrical panels, wiring diagrams, and BOMs
- Ensure compliance with European (IEC / CE) and North American (UL / NFPA / NEC) standards
- Support manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning activities on site
- Collaborate with mechanical, automation, and production teams
Requirements
- Experience in industrial or machine electrical design
- Strong knowledge of EPLAN Electric P8
- Understanding of EU and North American electrical standards
- Hands-on, plant-based engineering experience
- Ability to work on site 4 days per week
Nice to Have
- Experience with automated or high-throughput machinery
- Exposure to global machine compliance projects
