Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Consultant – Rotterdam (Hybrid) – 9 month freelance
Our client, a leading maritime logistics provider operating across the Port of Rotterdam, is rolling out Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to modernize their supply chain operations. The program focuses on integrating container handling, bonded warehousing, and international freight management into one centralized ERP platform.
You will join the functional team as a Supply Chain Consultant, supporting the configuration and rollout of F&O SCM modules for warehousing, procurement, and transportation management.
Responsibilities
Translate business requirements from logistics managers, warehouse supervisors, and freight planners into F&O functional designs.
Configure F&O Warehouse Management (WMS) and Transportation Management (TMS) modules with a focus on container tracking, customs clearance, and bonded storage processes.
Collaborate with technical developers on integrations to port systems (EDI, API with shipping lines) and external WMS/TMS platforms.
Support UAT and end-user training for logistics teams across multiple sites.
Provide go-live hypercare and process optimization.
Requirements
5+ years Dynamics AX / F&O functional consulting experience.
Hands-on expertise in Warehouse Management, Transportation, and Inventory modules.
Experience in logistics, maritime shipping, or freight forwarding industries (must-have).
At least 1 full-cycle Dynamics 365 F&O SCM implementation.
Knowledge of EDI, customs, and bonded warehouse processes a plus.
Fluent English; Dutch preferred
