Locum Corporate Solicitor
Organisation: Confidential Law Firm (Midlands)
Contract: Locum – 3–6 months initially
Working Arrangement: Fully remote
Day Rate: Competitive and negotiable (dependent on experience)
Role Overview
A well-established law firm based in the Midlands is seeking an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join their team on a locum basis.
The successful candidate will work across a varied corporate caseload, providing specialist legal advice to a range of clients and supporting the firm’s existing team during a period of increased demand.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a varied caseload of corporate matters from instruction through to completion
Advise clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters
Draft, review and negotiate corporate documentation and agreements
Advise on company formations, restructures and corporate transactions
Deal with shareholder agreements, share sales and acquisitions
Advise on directors’ duties, corporate governance and constitutional matters
Work directly with clients and provide clear, commercially focused legal advice
Manage matters independently while working closely with colleagues across the firm
Maintain high standards of client service and legal compliance
Candidate Profile
Qualified Solicitor with solid post-qualification experience
Strong experience in Corporate Law
Previous experience within a private practice environment
Able to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision
Strong drafting, negotiation and client management skills
Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail
Previous experience working remotely would be advantageous
Working Arrangements
The role is fully remote, providing flexibility for an experienced locum solicitor. The successful candidate will work closely with the firm’s team remotely, with no regular office attendance expected.
