About the role

Our client, a consulting firm, is looking for a Copywriter to join them in Schaerbeek on a contract basis. The role involves creating clear, well-structured written content that supports the organisation’s marketing, communications and business development activity.

You will write for a range of channels and audiences, turning technical or complex subject matter into copy that is easy to read and fits the brand. The position suits a writer who is comfortable working independently, taking a brief from different stakeholders and delivering polished work to deadline.

The successful candidate will bring strong writing skills, good judgement and a commercial understanding of how content supports business goals. This is a hands-on assignment where your experience will be put to work from the outset.

Main responsibilities

• Write and edit copy for websites, brochures, presentations, proposals and email campaigns
• Develop content for social media, articles, case studies and thought leadership pieces
• Turn briefs and subject matter input from colleagues into clear, engaging copy
• Maintain a consistent tone of voice and make sure content reflects brand guidelines
• Research topics, audiences and the market to inform content
• Proofread and edit work for accuracy, clarity and consistency
• Work with marketing, design and business teams to deliver content on time
• Adapt and improve existing content, including for search visibility where relevant
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines at the same time

Requirements

• Proven experience as a copywriter, content writer or in a similar role
• A portfolio of published work that shows range, clarity and a strong command of language
• Excellent written English, with attention to detail and a high standard of editing and proofreading
• Experience writing for business or professional audiences
• Ability to take a brief, ask the right questions and work with minimal supervision
• Good organisation and the ability to manage a varied workload to deadline
• Good communication skills, with the confidence to work with stakeholders at different levels
• The ability to work in Schaerbeek
