C++ Developer (Freelance)

C++ Software Developer – Leuven – Freelance 12 months+

For a large multi-national manufacturing client based in Leuven, I am looking for a freelance C++ Software Developers for a long-term mission.

This role offers 3 days working from home per week.

Responsibilities:

  • In charge of the software running on the component inspection machines.
  • Designing new software features for the existing and following cohort of component inspection machines.
  • This software includes a large spectrum of applications together with user interfaces, machine control, inspection and measurement, data analysis and reporting.
  • Producing automated unit and integration test cases.
  • Applying these software features utilising modern C++, STL and boost libraries in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Co-operating with other software engineers in an agile and international team.

Skills:

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar function.
  • Required: experienced C++ development
  • Nice to have: knowledge of python for testing purposes, knowledge of C# for GUI.
  • Good communication, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • You are fluent in English.
