C++ Software Developer – Leuven – Freelance 12 months+
For a large multi-national manufacturing client based in Leuven, I am looking for a freelance C++ Software Developers for a long-term mission.
This role offers 3 days working from home per week.
Responsibilities:
- In charge of the software running on the component inspection machines.
- Designing new software features for the existing and following cohort of component inspection machines.
- This software includes a large spectrum of applications together with user interfaces, machine control, inspection and measurement, data analysis and reporting.
- Producing automated unit and integration test cases.
- Applying these software features utilising modern C++, STL and boost libraries in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Co-operating with other software engineers in an agile and international team.
Skills:
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar function.
- Required: experienced C++ development
- Nice to have: knowledge of python for testing purposes, knowledge of C# for GUI.
- Good communication, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- You are fluent in English.
