About the Role
Our client, a leading organization within the financial services sector, is seeking an experienced Business Key User to support and optimize business operations around Salesforce and related business processes.
This position is a backfill role due to an upcoming departure within the team. To ensure a smooth handover and knowledge transfer, the ideal candidate will be available to start as soon as possible, preferably in early July.
The Business Key User will act as the bridge between end users, business stakeholders, and functional analysts, ensuring that business requirements are properly understood, prioritized, and translated into practical solutions. The role requires a strong understanding of business processes, user support, training delivery, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business users regarding Salesforce-related questions and processes.
- Support and manage the central business support mailbox.
- Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to identify, document, and prioritize business requirements.
- Distinguish between critical business needs and “nice-to-have” requests to support effective prioritization.
- Develop and maintain detailed work instructions, process documentation, and user guides.
- Organize and deliver end-user training sessions and workshops.
- Ensure smooth adoption of new functionalities and process changes.
- Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across business processes.
- Contribute to user acceptance testing (UAT) and change management activities.
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Key User, Business Support Specialist, Super User, Functional Support Consultant, or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with the full Salesforce ecosystem.
- Solid understanding of business process management and user support.
- Experience working closely with business analysts and operational stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience creating process documentation and detailed work instructions.
- Ability to deliver user training and support change adoption.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Experience within the financial services sector is highly preferred.
