Main Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst for Renewable Energy, your key responsibilities will include:
Identifying and analyzing business needs related to the asset management of renewable energy systems, including their integration into power markets and support for renewable energy trading.
Writing functional requirement documents for specialized asset management and trading systems.
Creating detailed test cases to ensure accurate implementation of functional requirements and alignment with business needs.
Developing clear, comprehensive documentation for delivered systems-ranging from user onboarding guides to high-level, end-to-end process documentation.
Technical Skills Required
Deep understanding of power markets and renewable technologies, including asset management and energy trading specifics.
Proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience in software development or data science.
Familiarity with cloud-based tools (e.g., AWS) and relational databases.
Experience in trading or managing assets in wholesale and/or ancillary service markets is a strong plus.
Soft Skills Required
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking with the ability to distill complex information into actionable insights.
Systems thinking mindset to understand and map interrelated components within complex environments.
Proactive problem-solving capabilities and creative approach to challenges.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, tailored for various stakeholders.

Languages
Fluency in English is required.
Dutch or French is considered an advantage.
