ATEX Planner
The ATEX Planner is responsible for planning and coordinating the maintenance and repair of equipment identified through hazardous area inspections. The role ensures corrective work is prioritized, scheduled, and completed in compliance with ATEX requirements, company standards, and operational priorities.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate maintenance and repair activities arising from ATEX inspection findings, ensuring timely completion and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with maintenance operations, engineering, and contractors to schedule resources, manage work scopes, and minimize operational disruption.
- Track the progress of corrective maintenance, maintain accurate documentation, and verify that completed work is properly recorded and closed out.
Requirements
- Experience in maintenance planning within industrial environments, with knowledge of ATEX/IECEx requirements and explosion-protected equipment.
- Proficiency with CMMS systems and maintenance planning processes, with the ability to interpret inspection findings and convert them into executable work plans.
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills, with a commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
