About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing European FinTech company developing cloud-based and AI-powered technology for the financial services industry.
They are looking for an experienced AI-Native DevOps Engineer to take ownership of the cloud infrastructure supporting their SaaS and AI platforms within a highly regulated and security-focused environment.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, security, and platform reliability, working closely with the CTO and Engineering team.
This is a hands-on role where you will also support developers with deployments, debugging, and infrastructure-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, primarily across GCP and IBM Cloud.
- Manage Kubernetes workloads and GitOps deployments using Argo CD.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or GitHub.
- Support developers with deployments, debugging, and platform issues.
- Manage secrets, identities, certificates, and platform security.
- Ensure infrastructure meets security and compliance requirements, including ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Use AI tools and agents to accelerate infrastructure development, automation, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Participate in limited on-call responsibilities during office hours.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ DevOps / Platform Engineering experience.
- Strong experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Argo CD.
- Experience with GitLab or GitHub CI/CD.
- Scripting skills, ideally Python or Bash.
- Experience using AI coding tools/agents within engineering workflows.
- Strong understanding of cloud security and regulated environments.
- Multi-cloud experience with IBM Cloud, AWS, or Azure is a plus.
- Financial services / FinTech experience is beneficial.
- Fluent English; Dutch or German is a plus.
