Role Overview:
The Aerospace V&V Engineer DO178 – System Level will be instrumental in shaping the strategic approach to Verification and Validation (V&V) for flight control systems. This role is not just about executing tests; it involves developing comprehensive strategies to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive V&V strategy for flight control systems.
• Ensure all V&V activities align with DO-178C standards.
• Oversee configuration management to ensure completeness and consistency across development and testing phases.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, software developers, and QA teams to ensure robust V&V coverage.
• Communicate findings and strategies to leadership and certification authorities.
Candidate Requirements:
• Strong background in aerospace systems engineering, particularly in flight control systems.
• Proven experience with DO-178C and system-level testing.
• Ability to develop and lead V&V strategies effectively.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools and practices.
• Detail-oriented mindset focused on completeness and traceability.
