About the Client:
Our German client is delivering a large-scale beverage manufacturing project in the United States, focused on the design and installation of a multi-can filling facility. They are looking for an experienced 3D Piping Designer to support the engineering team by converting existing 2D drawings into detailed 3D piping models for construction.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced 3D Piping Designer to work remotely on a fast-paced beverage manufacturing project. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing accurate 3D piping layouts from existing 2D engineering information, ensuring all designs comply with industry piping standards and project requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in industrial piping design and AutoCAD Plant Design Suite who enjoys working on large-scale process and manufacturing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 3D piping models from existing 2D engineering drawings
- Produce accurate piping layouts and routing for construction purposes
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant piping codes, standards, and project specifications
- Work closely with engineering and project teams to resolve design queries
- Update and revise models as project requirements evolve
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the design process
- Support the timely delivery of project milestones within tight deadlines
Candidate Requirements:
- 2-3+ years’ experience in 3D piping design within an industrial or process environment
- Strong experience using AutoCAD Plant Design Suite (AutoCAD Plant 3D)
- Experience producing 3D piping models from 2D engineering information
- Good understanding of piping standards, norms, and construction practices
- Experience working on food & beverage, manufacturing, process, or similar industrial projects is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote team
- English speaking
