WMS Implementation Consultant (Manhattan WMS) – Logistics Sector – Freelance
We are seeking a WMS Implementation Consultant to join a logistics organisation with warehouse operations in the Antwerp region. The consultant will support the implementation and configuration of the Manhattan WMS suite across distribution sites.
The client operates several warehouse platforms and is expanding its WMS landscape. To support these initiatives, they require a consultant with experience in WMS implementation who can assist with configuration, testing, and system rollout activities.
The role involves working with warehouse operations teams, IT teams, and vendors to translate operational processes into WMS configuration. The consultant will also support testing, troubleshooting, and data analysis related to warehouse processes.
The environment is based on the Manhattan WMS suite and requires experience with WMS configuration and SQL-based data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Support implementation of WMS solutions within the Manhattan suite
- Configure WMS functionality based on warehouse processes
- Work with warehouse operations teams to translate operational requirements into system configuration
- Support integration activities between WMS and surrounding systems
- Use SQL for data queries, validation, and troubleshooting
- Participate in system testing including integration testing and user acceptance testing
- Investigate system incidents and coordinate resolution with IT teams and vendors
- Maintain documentation of system configurations and changes
- Support WMS rollout activities across warehouse sites
Profile
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
- Experience with Manhattan WMS
- Experience supporting WMS implementation or rollout projects
- SQL knowledge for querying and analysing system data
- Experience with WMS configuration
