Technical Manager: Food Production
We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager for a 12-month contract with a leading company in the food production sector. This position is based at a production facility in Belgium that specializes in raw materials and operates 24/7.
You will be working closely with the Production Manager to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of the site’s technical and maintenance functions.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the Maintenance Department: Lead and manage the maintenance team, ensuring all activities are performed efficiently and safely.
Maintenance and Operations: Supervise and provide technical expertise on the maintenance of critical production equipment, including gearboxes, grinders, and silos.
Background in Maintenance: A strong background in maintenance, with a blend of mechanical and electrical knowledge, is essential.
Safety and Compliance: Basic knowledge of ATEX regulations is required to ensure a safe working environment.
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience in a technical or maintenance management role, ideally within a food production or similar raw materials processing environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a maintenance team.
Proficiency in both mechanical and electrical systems.
Knowledge of ATEX (explosive atmospheres) regulations.
Immediate Start & Interview Process
We are looking for someone to start immediately. Interviews will be conducted throughout the week of August 11th, with the aim for the successful candidate to start between August 18th and September 1st.
