About the Project:
Join a leading aerospace program in the Augsburg region, supporting the build and coordination of a state-of-the-art aircraft. As a Freelance Technical Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing suppliers, overseeing production lines, and ensuring seamless site coordination. This is a long-term project offering stability, technical challenge, and direct influence on a high-profile aerospace build.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Management:
Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with technical and quality standards.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve technical or logistical issues as they arise.
Production Line Coordination:
Oversee and coordinate activities across multiple production lines related to aircraft build.
Ensure all technical specifications and timelines are met.
Project Management & Site Coordination:
Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and procurement teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Coordinate onsite activities and resolve cross-functional issues swiftly and effectively.
Compliance & Standards:
Ensure adherence to Machinery Directive and TGA (Technical Building Equipment) standards.
Provide technical oversight and ensure compliance with all relevant aerospace and safety regulations.
Shopfloor Interface:
Engage with shopfloor teams to understand issues, provide technical direction, and ensure operational continuity.
Represent project management on the ground with authority and a confident, solution-oriented approach.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong background in technical coordination within industrial or aerospace environments.
Proven experience in supplier management, production planning, or site coordination.
Solid understanding of Machinery Directive and TGA standards.
Experience working directly on the shopfloor and resolving real-time production issues.
Confident and authoritative presence, able to drive decisions and ensure alignment across departments.
Fluent German (written and spoken) – essential for supplier and shopfloor communication.
Based near or willing to work onsite in Augsburg primarily.
