FREELANCE – Tank Inspector | Oil & Gas | Belgium (Antwerp-Based + Travel)
Location: Based in Antwerp, with travel across Belgium
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Schedule: 5 days/week on-site (travel covered)
We are seeking an experienced Tank Inspector to support inspection activities for a major oil & gas client across multiple sites in Belgium. The role is based in Antwerp and involves regular travel (transport provided). This is a hands-on technical position focused on storage tank inspections, data acquisition, and report generation using specialised software.
Key Responsibilities:
-Perform inspections of storage tanks in line with EEMUA 159 and/or API standards
-Accurately gather inspection data and produce detailed English-language reports
-Use industry-specific tank inspection software for documentation
-Travel to client sites across Belgium (vehicle/transport covered)
-Collaborate closely with the Tank Manager during inspection and reporting processes
Ideal Candidate:
-Proven hands-on experience in tank inspections within the oil & gas sector
-Familiarity with EEMUA 159 and/or API standards is essential
-Confident working independently in the field
-Strong attention to detail and ability to write clear, high-quality reports in English
-Flexible with on-site work and travel requirements
