The Role
We are looking for a Systems Engineer to support a long‑term defence project, working across the full system lifecycle — from requirements and architecture through integration and customer‑site testing. You’ll act as the bridge between customer needs and technical delivery, collaborating closely with developers, testers, and stakeholders to ensure high‑quality system performance and successful deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand operational needs and translate them into system requirements
- Break down complex problems and support the design of viable technical solutions
- Collaborate with software developers and test engineers throughout development and verification
- Participate in system testing, including activities carried out at customer or NATO sites
- Contribute to planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and demos
- Share best practices and support continuous improvement within the systems engineering team
Your Profile
- Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or similar technical field
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Experience in system development or systems engineering practices
- Ability to produce system‑level specifications and work closely with software teams
- Experience with technical project coordination is an advantage
- Background in defence, military intelligence, or NATO‑related standards is beneficial but not required
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
