IT System Engineer – West Flanders (Belgium) – Freelance (12+ Months)

For a financial services client located in the West Flanders region, I am searching for a freelance IT System Engineer for a long-term assignment.

This is a role is a hybrid position offering 50% remote working.

Job Description

• You will work as a System Engineer on various projects within the IT team, both in terms of infrastructure and minimal development tasks.
• You are responsible for designing, coordinating, realizing and implementing, monitoring and adjusting all activities of the project with emphasis on the technical.
• You adapt the own operation of the “IT infrastructure” team, the procedures, … to planned expansions and you prepare the production.

Skills

• 3+ years in a similar function.
• You have good expertise working as a IT System Engineer in a Windows-based environment.
• You can understand PowerShell/or write scripts.
• You are a team player and can also work independently.
• You are fluent in English and Dutch/French.
