Role Overview
We are seeking a freelance Quality Customer Support Consultant to join our client’s team in the Lille area, France. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying the quality and compliance of incoming supplier materials and documentation. You will also play a key role in maintaining accurate records and ensuring the customer data platform is up to date. This is a hybrid position offering 1–2 days per week remote work, with the flexibility to work part-time (3 days/week) or full-time (5 days/week).
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all incoming products and supplier documentation meet the company’s quality standards.
- Review and validate supplier and product documentation, including certificates, specifications, and test results.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation in line with company and industry standards.
- Update and verify information in the customer data platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to address quality discrepancies.
- Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives related to supplier quality.
Requirements (Qualifications / Skills & Experience)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar quality assurance or quality support role.
- Proven experience within the food production industry (essential).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage documentation efficiently and work independently.
- Fluent in French (spoken and written).
Essential
- Experience in food quality assurance or supplier quality control.
- Strong understanding of food safety and quality documentation standards.
Desirable
- Experience using customer data or quality management platforms.
- English language proficiency.
