Supply Chain / Planning Specialist – Contract (Antwerp | Hybrid)
Location: Antwerp (Hybrid – 2 days remote)
Contract Length: 4–5 months
Workload: 4–5 days per week
Start Date: Flexible (mid-January to 1st February)
Equipment: Laptop provided
Language: English required | Dutch a plus (basic conversational level)
A well-established organisation within the food manufacturing sector is looking for a contract Supply Chain / Planning professional to provide short-term cover and operational support.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a broad supply chain background who is comfortable operating at an executional level while supporting day-to-day planning and buying activities.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
Follow-up and coordination with the warehouse
Monitoring and checking orders
Supporting operational supply chain activities
Reviewing new requirements via MSP
Applying general buying and planning rules
Execution-focused support across the supply chain function
Opportunity to upskill and broaden responsibilities during the assignment
Ideal background:
Experience in supply chain / planning / operations
Strong executional mindset
Comfortable stepping into an existing setup and maintaining continuity
Food industry experience preferred (chocolate experience is a strong plus)
Able to work independently with minimal handover
