Supervisor Accountant (Freelance)

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior / Supervisor Accountant to strengthen our team of approximately 10–15 professionals. This is a key position within the company, combining hands-on accounting work with a degree of team support and client interaction.
Due to continued growth and workload, we are seeking someone who can start quickly and take ownership of a client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a portfolio of local clients (primarily SMEs)
- Handle accounting, tax filings, and financial reporting
- Provide tax advice with a focus on Belgian tax (no international tax required)
- Ensure timely submission of fiscal deadlines (VAT, corporate tax, etc.)
- Act as a point of contact for clients and maintain long-term relationships
- Support junior and medior accountants when needed
- Contribute to internal organization and workflow improvements
Profile
- Strong experience in accounting within a fiduciary/accountancy firm
- Solid knowledge of Belgian tax regulations
- Experience managing client portfolios independently
- Consultant background is a plus
- Basic people management / supervisory skills
- Strong communication and client-facing abilities
- Fluent in Dutch (essential)
- ITAA certification is a plus (not mandatory)

- Flexible working hours
- Hybrid working model (mix of homeworking and office)
- No on-site work on Fridays
