Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Rome, Italy

Contract Duration: May/June 2026 – December 2026
Working Pattern: 3–4 days per week, 8–10 hours per day
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to support photovoltaic (PV) projects based in Rome. The role will focus primarily on rooftop solar installations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
This position is well-suited to a flexible professional who can adapt to project needs and travel to additional sites if required by the client.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day site operations on PV projects
Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient execution
Ensure compliance with local regulations and health & safety standards
Coordinate site activities, schedules, and logistics
Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks
Act as the main point of contact for site stakeholders and project teams
Monitor progress and provide regular reports
Support commissioning and final project handover
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction or renewable energy projects
Strong PV (photovoltaic) experience, ideally with rooftop installations
Fluent in both Italian and English
EU passport holder or Italian resident
Flexibility to travel to additional project sites if required
Strong organisational and communication skills
