Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Bologna & Turin, Italy
Contract Type: Freelance
Contract Duration: May/June 2026 – December 2026
Working Pattern: 3–4 days per week, 8–10 hours per day
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to support photovoltaic (PV) projects across Bologna and Turin. The role will primarily focus on rooftop solar installations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements.
This position is ideal for a flexible professional who can travel between sites and manage multiple project demands within a dynamic construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day site operations across both project locations
Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure safe and high-quality delivery
Ensure compliance with local regulations and health & safety standards
Coordinate site activities, schedules, and logistics
Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks
Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
Monitor progress and provide regular reporting
Support project completion, commissioning, and handover
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction or renewable energy projects
Strong PV (photovoltaic) project experience, preferably rooftop installations
Fluent in both Italian and English
EU passport holder or Italian resident
Willingness and flexibility to travel between Bologna and Turin as required
Strong organisational and communication skills
