Site Manager – 7MW Ground-Mounted PV Project

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction and delivery of a 7MW ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) project in Brindisi, Italy.

The successful candidate will have proven experience managing ground-mounted solar projects, a strong understanding of Italian construction and HSE requirements, and the ability to communicate effectively in both Italian and English.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day activities on site throughout the construction phase.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Monitor project progress, quality, programme, and site performance.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable Italian regulations.
• Ensure compliance with Italian HSE requirements and maintain high standards of health and safety on site.
• Conduct and participate in site meetings, inspections, and progress reviews.
• Identify and resolve technical, logistical, and construction issues.
• Coordinate with the project management and engineering teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor installation activities for ground-mounted PV systems.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
• Support the project team in achieving key milestones and ensuring timely completion.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on ground-mounted PV projects.
• Previous experience working on PV or BESS projects in Italy.
• Strong knowledge of Italian PV regulations, construction requirements, and site procedures.
• Relevant Italian HSE certifications/qualifications.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple contractors and site activities effectively.
• EU passport or valid Italian residency/work authorisation.
• Available to start within the next 2–3 weeks, with the project commencing on 1 September 2026.
