🚀 We’re Hiring: Freelance Site Managers – Utility Scale Solar PV (Romania)
We are currently looking for 2 experienced Site Managers to support the delivery of large-scale PV cluster project in Romania.
This is an exciting long-term freelance opportunity for professionals with a strong background in utility-scale solar construction who want to be part of high-impact renewable energy projects.
📍 Location: Bucharest (on-site)
📅 Start Date: 1st March
⏳ Duration: 12–24 months
🧾 Contract: Freelance
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise on-site construction teams (Engineers, HSSE, QA/QC)
Oversee daily construction activities and subcontractor installation works
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and Quality standards (local & group).
Review and contribute to project design documentation.
Monitor site progress, report to the Project Manager, and proactively address schedule risks.
Manage subcontractor performance, nonconformities, and contract compliance.
Coordinate material deliveries, logistics, and site availability.
Verify quality and quantities of materials delivered to site.
Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan.
Manage site facilities and utilities to ensure smooth project execution.
🎓 Requirements
Degree or background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
3+ years’ experience on utility-scale solar PV projects.
Proven track record of successfully delivering Solar Power Plant projects.
Strong site coordination and leadership skills.
💻 Technical Skills
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) – essential
MS Project – advantageous
AutoCAD for reviewing technical drawings – a plus
