About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee pipeline and sewer renovation projects across Belgium and the Netherlands. You will be responsible for the daily coordination and on-site execution of short-duration but high-volume renovation works, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency at every stage.
This is a hands-on role, with approximately 60–70% of your time spent on-site and the remainder available for remote work and project administration.
Key Responsibilities
Start work on-site from 7:00 AM each day and ensure all operational activities begin on time.
Coordinate daily practical arrangements for on-site teams and subcontractors.
Ensure project documentation, certifications, and permits are up to date and compliant.
Conduct site checks and monitor progress, safety standards, and quality of works.
Manage material orders and deliveries to keep works running smoothly.
Prepare and review invoices and site-related administrative documents.
Liaise closely with the Project Manager, providing updates, issue tracking, and progress reports.
Support the planning and sequencing of multiple smaller projects running concurrently.
Promote a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork on-site.
Requirements
Fluent Dutch is mandatory (spoken and written).
Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally in pipeline or sewer renovation projects.
Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple short-duration sites.
Knowledge of Belgian and/or Dutch construction and safety regulations.
Proficiency in site documentation and reporting tools.
Valid driving licence and willingness to travel across Belgium and the Netherlands.
Working Conditions
Average of 10 hours per day, depending on project needs.
Combination of on-site and remote work (approx. 60–70% site-based).
Contract duration: 5 years, with potential for renewal or extension.
