| The Site Civil Inspector/Engineer key responsibilities are: · Site Inspections: Conduct daily site inspections to monitor ongoing construction activities, ensuring adherence to design drawings, technical specifications, client specification, National law and regulation. · Quality Control: Ensure that materials and workmanship meet quality standards and project requirements. · Compliance Monitoring: Check that construction practices comply with local, regional, and national codes and regulations. · Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, progress reports, and non-compliance issues. · Testing: Ensure that applicable material testing (e.g., concrete, soil, asphalt) is conducted and review lab test reports. · Issue Reporting: Identify and report deficiencies, deviations, or safety violations, and ensure corrective actions are taken. · Communication: Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to resolve on-site issues and clarify requirements. · Coordination: Assist in review of drawings, change orders, and contractor submittals. · Safety Monitoring: Support implementation of site safety protocols and practices. |
