Location:  Mons/Feluy, Belgium
Normal Working Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-10 hours per day.
Project: 5x end-to-end projects relating to major data centre construction projects working for the client, Google, in the Mons and/or Feluy data center campuses.
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: 12 Months+ Freelance Contract

Our client is Google. 

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to work for the client as the OR (owner representative) Project Manager to drive projects and people to completion of milestones, keeping the project on track, and overseeing from start to finish all phases including Design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning etc..

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the Senior Project Manager responsible end-to-end for up to 5x projects in relation to data center construction across 2 campuses.
• Oversee and drive the project from design, procurement, construction, commissioning etc..
• Drive people to complete all milestones accurately and in-line with the project plan.
• Coordinate the Design teams, General contractors, subcontractors etc.. to ensure everyone is on the same page and aware of any deviations from the plan.
• Use your knowledge of end-to-end projects to react to deviations and bring the project back on track through providing good solutions and maintaining strong collaboration with all stakeholders.
• Be the lead for the client (owner representative) and have the final say onsite to drive the project and take authority.
• Use your knowledge of Belgian laws, standards, requirements etc.. to ensure everything is compliant across the whole project (CSA & MEP).
• Be pro-active and make things happen.
• Use your understanding of local contractors in Belgium, your network within Belgian contractors and your strong emotional intelligence and communication skills to bring everyone together and deliver the project.

Candidate Requirements:

• Senior End-to-End Project Manager Experience on large industrial projects (relating to either Data Centers, Energy, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical).
• Strong knowledge of local Belgian requirements, standards and laws.
• Experience overseeing projects in all phases (design, procurement, execution/build, commissioning etc..)
• Strong communication skills and fluent English.
