The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to support the delivery of a major engineering project in Linz, Austria.
The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating project delivery, ensuring technical requirements are met and supporting the project team throughout the delivery lifecycle. You will work closely with site teams, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer with strong project coordination and site experience to join a technically demanding project in Austria.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of engineering projects and ensure activities remain aligned with project requirements.
- Manage and coordinate site surveys, ensuring findings are accurately recorded and communicated to the wider project team.
- Review, maintain and coordinate technical documentation throughout the project.
- Oversee subcontractors and coordinate their activities to ensure work is delivered to the required standards.
- Work closely with engineering, construction and project teams to resolve technical and delivery issues.
- Monitor project progress against agreed programmes and identify potential delays or risks.
- Support the project team in ensuring delivery remains within agreed budgets.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety requirements.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, technical matters and site activities.
About You
We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer with proven experience coordinating project delivery within a technical engineering environment.
You should have experience with:
- Coordinating engineering or construction project delivery.
- Managing site surveys and technical documentation.
- Overseeing subcontractors and coordinating multiple project stakeholders.
- Working to strict project schedules and budgets.
- Identifying and resolving technical or delivery issues.
- Maintaining a strong focus on health and safety.
- Communicating effectively with project teams, contractors and stakeholders.
Previous data centre experience would be advantageous, although candidates with strong transferable project engineering experience will also be considered.
English language skills are essential.
