Senior Procurement Officer
Public Sector Organisation – North Wales
Initial 3–6 Month Contract | Hybrid Working (Office Attendance Twice Per Month)

Vivid Resourcing are currently supporting a public sector organisation in North Wales who are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Officer to join their team on an interim basis. Due to the confidential nature of this assignment, further details will be shared at application stage.

This role offers the opportunity to support a high-profile organisation delivering strategic programmes across the region, with a flexible working arrangement requiring office attendance only twice per month.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing end-to-end procurement exercises in line with public sector regulations

  • Providing expert procurement advice to internal stakeholders

  • Drafting and reviewing tender documentation, contracts and procurement strategies

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant UK public procurement legislation

  • Supporting continuous improvement and best practice across procurement activity

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Senior Procurement Officer within the public sector

  • Strong knowledge of public procurement regulations and procedures

  • Ability to manage complex procurements independently

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Contract Details:

  • Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)

  • Hybrid working with office attendance twice per month

  • Initial 3–6 month contract with potential for extension

  • Flexible start date
