We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Planner to join our dynamic and growing team in our clients’ Bristol based team. Working across a wide range of projects-from residential and commercial developments to energy, regeneration, and leisure schemes-you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping places and supporting client success across England, Scotland, and Wales.
🔑 What You’ll Be Doing:
Supporting senior team members in delivering high-quality planning consultancy across various sectors
Preparing and submitting planning applications, appeals, and pre-application enquiries
Undertaking research and planning appraisals to assess development potential
Writing detailed, insightful reports with clear planning recommendations
Preparing representations on emerging planning policy
Liaising and negotiating with local planning authorities and key stakeholders
Building strong relationships with clients and fellow professionals
Attending networking events and supporting business development
👤 Who We’re Looking For:
RTPI-qualified (or working towards it) with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience in public or private sector planning
Strong understanding of at least one of the UK’s planning systems
Confident communicator-both written and verbal-with excellent report writing skills
Organised, proactive and solutions-focused, with a genuine passion for planning and development
Team player who enjoys mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to a collaborative culture
