Job Title: Senior Planner

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join a major industrial project in Antwerp, Belgium. This role is ideally suited to a planning professional with a strong background in oil & gas, petrochemical, or large-scale industrial projects, who is ready to take ownership of the M&EÂ project schedule.
Working closely with project management and engineering teams, the Senior Planner will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring detailed project schedules using Primavera P6. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules for MEP works using Primavera P6.
Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure schedule accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
Monitor project progress, identify critical paths, and highlight potential risks or delays.
Provide regular schedule updates, progress reports, and forecasting analyses.
Support project control functions by integrating schedule data with cost and resource information.
Ensure schedule deliverables comply with client and project requirements.
Requirements
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Expert user of Primavera P6 with a proven track record in complex project planning.
Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or large-scale industrial projects.
Strong understanding of M&EÂ systems and their sequencing within construction projects (highly advantageous).
Ability to work on-site full-time in Antwerp.
Eligible to work as a freelancer in Belgium (Belgian resident or holder of an EU passport).
