We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer with strong Palantir Foundry experience to help build production-grade data, workflow and decision-support solutions for a healthcare supply-chain environment.
The role sits across software engineering, data engineering, product and operations, working directly with customers and internal teams to take problems from discovery through to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to understand operational challenges and translate them into Foundry solutions.
- Design and develop Palantir Foundry Ontologies, data pipelines, applications and workflows.
- Build and integrate data from APIs, databases, files and external systems.
- Develop user-facing applications and operational decision-support tools using Foundry.
- Apply AI/AIP, automation and advanced analytics to improve workflows and engineering processes.
- Own solutions end-to-end, from discovery and prototyping through deployment, adoption and ongoing improvement.
- Ensure solutions are production-ready, secure, governed, auditable and supportable.
- Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive adoption and measurable business value.
Required Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry in a production environment.
- Experience with Ontology, Pipeline Builder and Foundry application development.
- Strong Python and SQL skills.
- Experience building data pipelines, integrations and production applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Comfortable working directly with customers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience taking solutions from initial discovery through to production.
Preferred
- Experience with AIP, AI/ML workflows, LLMs or advanced analytics in Foundry.
- Experience with Workshop, Functions, OSDK and Code Repositories.
- Full-stack software engineering experience.
- Experience within healthcare, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics or another complex operational environment.
- Experience working with operational data such as inventory, orders, suppliers, locations, demand planning or forecasting.
- Familiarity with security, governance, lineage and access controls.
