Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical and Product Engineer to join an expert team of mechanical designers and product engineers. You will contribute directly to the company’s long-term product roadmap, supporting the development of new and exciting consumer electronics products. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and a passion for design and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop mechanical solutions for new consumer electronics products
Optimize designs for DFM (Design for Manufacturability)
Support and manage EVT/DVT builds, including validation and final testing phases
Create and iterate on 3D models using Creo
Translate product requirements into functional mechanical designs
Provide technical input throughout the product development lifecycle with a focus on Final stages
Work closely with production teams to ensure manufacturability and quality standards are met
Requirements
Qualifications / Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering roles
Proficiency with Creo
Solid experience in product development, especially in consumer electronics
Strong understanding of DFM principles and optimization
Hands-on experience with EVT/DVT stages in hardware development
Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills

Previous experience in the consumer electronics industry
Familiarity with production processes and a strong sense of manufacturability
Additional Information
Location: Antwerp, Belgium (flexible onsite attendance required)
Start Date: November – December 2025
Contract Length: 12 months (with possibility of extension)
Languages: Dutch is beneficial; English is fully acceptable
