Job Title: Senior Project Manager – SaaS (Remote, OH/Toronto Preferred)

About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager with deep experience in stakeholder management to lead a high-visibility, time-sensitive engagement with a key insurance industry client. This role is within a dynamic SaaS company and focuses on managing a troubled project in need of immediate structure, direction, and strategic alignment.
The successful candidate will bring proven experience in project recovery, navigating complex relationships between internal teams, external customers, and a third-party implementation partner.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact across multiple stakeholder groups – including client executives, internal teams, and implementation partners.
Assess the current project state and implement a recovery plan to re-align scope, timelines, deliverables, and communication.
Facilitate and maintain consistent communication across all stakeholders with clarity, diplomacy, and strategic foresight.
Develop and manage project plans, risk registers, change control processes, and executive reporting.
Lead status meetings, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure alignment between technology capabilities and client expectations.
Maintain strong working relationships across departments: Product, Engineering, Support, Customer Success, and external vendors.
Ensure project goals are met while managing constraints related to scope, time, and resources
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years focused on project recovery or high-risk engagements.
Strong, demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and communication – including C-level executives, technical teams, and external vendors.
Background in SaaS, enterprise software, or cloud-based platforms.
Experience working with or within the insurance sector is highly preferred.
Familiarity with FEI (Front-End Integration) is a plus.
Professional certification preferred: PMP, IPMA, CAPM, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
Available immediately and able to work across time zones to support both U.S. and Canadian stakeholders.
Based within reasonable travel distance to Ohio (USA) or Toronto (CA) for occasional in-person meetings if required.
