About the Client:
Our client is a leading data centre developer, known for delivering high-quality, mission-critical facilities. They are expanding their construction team for a major data centre project and are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer with project engineering or assistant project management experience, capable of leading a civil/structural design team.
Role Overview:
The Senior Engineer will oversee civil, concrete, and structural engineering aspects of the project, managing design engineers and coordinating technical deliverables. The focus is on ensuring design and construction activities are aligned, materials are procured efficiently, and project standards are met.
The successful candidate will directly manage site engineers and work closely with project teams to maintain high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the civil/structural design team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of engineering outputs.
Coordinate design and construction activities for civil, concrete, and structural works.
Oversee procurement of materials and monitor construction modeling processes.
Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical and design issues.
Report progress, findings, and risks to senior management.
Candidate Requirements:
10+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering projects, ideally in data centre or large-scale construction projects.
Hands-on experience with civil, concrete, and structural works.
Project engineering or assistant project management experience—ability to manage and lead design teams.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, design coordination, materials procurement, and modeling.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Eligible to work in Denmark (EU citizens preferred)
Able to work on-site full-time with a start within a month.
