We’re looking for an experienced and driven Senior Development Manager to join our well-established Housing Association client, based primarily in the North West. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering an ambitious development programme, creating much-needed affordable homes and vibrant, sustainable communities across the region.

The Role:

As Senior Development Manager, you will:

✅ Lead and oversee the successful delivery of large-scale affordable housing developments from inception to completion.
✅ Identify and secure new development opportunities, ensuring strong financial viability and securing necessary funding.
✅ Develop and manage key partnerships with local authorities, landowners, contractors, and other stakeholders to drive project success.
✅ Ensure project excellence, meeting the highest standards in quality, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
✅ Manage project risks, budgets, and timelines to ensure developments are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively.
✅ Lead and mentor development teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

About You:

We’re looking for a strategic and results-driven leader who brings:

✔ Extensive experience in housing development, property development, or project management at a senior level.
✔ A deep understanding of the housing sector, ideally within a housing association, local authority, or private sector developer.
✔ Expert knowledge of funding mechanisms, planning policies, and affordable housing regulations within the North West.
✔ Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive positive outcomes.
✔ A passion for delivering high-quality, sustainable housing solutions that benefit local communities.
✔ A strong understanding of the North West housing market, including key regional challenges and opportunities.
