Job Description
- Lead and manage a team of professionals in the planning and execution of development and regeneration projects.
- Develop strategic plans and policies in line with the council’s vision.
- Engage with stakeholders and build relationships with community groups and other public sector organisations.
- Oversee project budgets and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Monitor and report on project progress to senior leadership.
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
- Champion sustainable development practices.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Development and Regeneration Manager should have:
- 10 Years experience
- A degree in a relevant field such as Urban Planning, Property Development or Business Management.
- Proven experience in leading development and regeneration projects.
- Strong strategic planning and project management skills.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- A strong understanding of sustainable development practices in the public sector.
- SQL experience
- Financially articulate
- Ability to steer the master plan and ensure delivery remains in budget
