Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to support the planning and delivery of a large-scale data centre construction project near Milan. The successful candidate will develop, maintain, and optimize the master project schedule using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project milestones, procurement timelines, subcontractor activities, and client reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and update detailed construction schedules in P6.
Monitor progress, identify variances, and prepare mitigation plans.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to capture accurate activity data.
Produce weekly and monthly schedule reports, look-aheads, and critical path analysis.
Support risk assessments, scenario planning, and schedule optimisation.
Attend project meetings and provide clear scheduling insights to stakeholders.
Requirements:
Proven scheduling experience on major construction or mission-critical projects (data centres preferred).
Strong proficiency in Primavera P6.
Understanding of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and earned value principles.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work full-time on site (45 hrs/week) for the duration of the 2-year contract.
