Our client is positioning SAP as the backbone of its future IT landscape. To accelerate this transformation and ensure strong architectural governance, we are looking for an experienced Hybrid SAP / ERP Architect with both deep SAP expertise and broad enterprise integration capabilities.
This is a strategic role requiring a strong architectural vision and the ability to operate at both enterprise and solution level.
🎯 Role Overview
As a SAP / ERP Architect, you will be responsible for designing and governing the SAP landscape while ensuring seamless integration with non-SAP systems and custom applications.
You combine specialist SAP knowledge with a helicopter view across the full IT ecosystem.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the SAP target architecture
- Ensure SAP becomes a scalable and future-proof backbone of the organization
- Design integration patterns between SAP and other enterprise systems
- Align SAP solutions with business strategy and enterprise architecture principles
- Support transformation programs and ERP-related initiatives
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors
- Apply and promote the ArchiMate framework for architecture modelling
- Provide architectural guidance across SAP and non-SAP environments
🛠 Required Expertise
- Strong experience as SAP Architect or ERP Architect
- Experience in complex enterprise SAP landscapes (S/4HANA experience is a plus)
- Proven experience integrating SAP with other systems such as:
- Broad ERP knowledge beyond SAP
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles
- Hands-on experience with ArchiMate
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
