Role Overview:
Our logistics-sector customer in Brussels is looking for an experienced SAP Datasphere Expert to lead and execute a full end‑to‑end implementation. This role requires a consultant who can take ownership from initial analysis and design through to build, testing, and handover.
As the SAP Datasphere specialist, you will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to define data models, design transformation logic, and ensure seamless integration across systems—including Sub-Integration Suite and SuccessFactors.

 
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analysis & Design

• Conduct in‑depth analysis of current data flows, source systems, and business requirements.
• Design the end‑to‑end data architecture within SAP Datasphere.
• Create logical and physical data models, mapping documents, and transformation rules.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate design assumptions and align deliverables.

2. Build & Development

• Develop modular, scalable SAP Datasphere components (views, pipelines, transformations, data products).
• Implement integration logic using SAP Sub-Integration Suite and ensure clean connectivity with SuccessFactors and other logistics‑related systems.
• Apply best practices for data security, performance, and governance in Datasphere.

3. Testing & Quality Assurance

• Build and execute test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance support.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure all data flows meet business expectations.
• Provide clear documentation for all developed components.

4. Delivery & Knowledge Transfer

• Support deployment and cutover activities.
• Provide knowledge transfer to internal teams to ensure smooth long-term operations.
• Act as the primary expert throughout the lifecycle of the implementation.

Candidate Requirements:
·  Proven hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere (design, modelling, transformations, data pipelines).
·  Experience with SAP Sub-Integration Suite (or equivalent SAP integration technologies).
·  Strong understanding of SAP SuccessFactors integrations and data structures.
·  Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or similar data-intensive environments.
·  Solid understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT, and cloud-based data architecture.
·  Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
·  Language: Fluency in French or Dutch (both preferred).
·  Availability: Onsite in Brussels 1 day per week.
