An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Building Inspector to support a busy local authority building control team. Looking for a proactive professional with Class 2 A, B and D registration with the Building Safety Regulator. Key Responsibilities Site inspections & plan checking (including use of Uniform) Enforcement of Building Regulations & dangerous structures Pre-application advice & customer engagement Working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
What You’ll Need Proven experience in local authority building control Strong technical knowledge across domestic and low-risk commercial builds Confident decision-making and excellent communication skills ICT literacy (Uniform, inspection apps, electronic plans) Ability to work from home and the office when required Max 40hrs/week (5 days) or 32hrs/week (4 days) Must provide own PPE and be aware of conflicts of interest
