This change programme has been an important element of the council’s approach to transformation’s longer-term place visions and financial sustainability, and we are now focusing the work of our Regeneration and Place team at the centre of our Economy and Development agenda. The post-holder will support opportunities, liaise with key partners and stakeholders and support innovative approaches, pilots and projects to drive forward a series of exciting Regeneration projects and programmes whilst considering how best to align our commercial property portfolio with a wider economic development, land use planning and community agenda. Degree qualified, with experience of managing a Regeneration or Economic development team or equivalent, you will be looking to deliver within local government, working across a diverse project and property portfolio, in support of wider economic and corporate objectives including climate change and sustainable transport. You must be able to analyse and present complex information and be prepared to produce briefings on required topics and have good verbal communication and presentation skills.
