We are looking for an R&D Electronics Engineer to join an innovative research and development organisation specialising in the creation of advanced electronic solutions for industrial applications.
Working within a multidisciplinary R&D team, you will play a key role in developing, testing and industrializing new electronic technologies. This position combines hands-on electronics engineering with research activities, giving you the opportunity to contribute throughout the full product development lifecycle, from concept validation and laboratory testing through to preparation for manufacturing.
Alongside technical development, you will also contribute to ongoing research projects, collaborate with academic and industrial partners, and represent the organisation at technical conferences and industry events.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and validate electronic hardware for industrial applications.
- Test and evaluate FPGA-based systems and support verification activities.
- Design and build electronic test circuitry for ASIC validation and characterization.
- Develop prototypes and perform laboratory testing, troubleshooting and performance analysis.
- Support the industrialization of electronic products, ensuring designs are suitable for manufacturing and production.
- Participate in research projects exploring new technologies and innovative electronic solutions.
- Analyse test results and document findings through technical reports and presentations.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, researchers and external partners on multidisciplinary projects.
- Keep up to date with emerging technologies, components and industry trends.
- Attend technical conferences, workshops and seminars to share research and identify new opportunities.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Strong practical understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
- Experience or knowledge of C programming.
- Good hands-on electronics skills, including laboratory testing and debugging.
- Ability to interpret electronic schematics and use standard electronic measurement equipment.
- Interest in research, innovation and the development of new technologies.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working both independently and within collaborative project teams.
- Good communication skills in English.
