Role Overview
We are currently working with a Local Authority based in Nottinghamshire on a Quantity Surveying role for a 6 month period available immediately. The rate for this role is £350 per day inside IR35.
This role also requires 5 days per week of work and this will be mainly office based (no hybrid working).
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on the capital works program
- Deal with Procurement
- NOT NEC Experience but instead JCT solely
- Cost estimations
- Work on the procurement pipeline.
- Draft written reports, setting out the processes in place, conclusions, solutions and recommendations
- Helping the depot with the repairs and voids
Desirable
It would be helpful to have Public Sector experience, this role could involve dealing with the likes of major projects like £16m project for kitchens and bathrooms and £8m pound projects on windows and doors. This is solely a residential portfolio.
