About the Client:
Our client is an international food production company operating large-scale manufacturing facilities in Europe. The site produces a wide range of products, and operates under strict quality, food safety, and regulatory standards.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an Interim Quality Officer to support the quality team operationally at site level.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Take an active, hands-on role in daily site quality operations, ensuring food safety and quality standards are consistently applied on the production floor
• Conduct regular quality walks and inspections to monitor compliance, identify risks, and drive immediate corrective actions where needed
• Support internal, customer, and certification audits; prepare documentation, guide operational teams during audit rounds, and ensure timely follow-up of findings
• Manage customer complaints end-to-end
• Monitor non-conformities and deviations, ensuring proper documentation, trend analysis, and structural improvements to prevent recurrence 

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in a food production environment 
• Good knowledge of food safety standards, QMS, and regulatory requirements.
• Languages: Dutch

Duration: 3-6 months
Schedule: 32-40 hours per week
Rate: Competitive freelance daily rate, depending on experience and qualifications
